A small family owned and operated hotel that's just a short walk from restaurants, pubs, a casino or the river. The owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. You really feel like one of the family when you stay at the Thameside hotel, not just a room number with a credit card like at the big chains. I highly recommend the Thameside hotel to anyone visiting the Reading area.
You book some hotels and they make you feel like you are just one of many visitors that day. I booked the Thameside Hotel for my wife and brother in law who where visiting friends. From the phone calls to the catch up when she got home she had nothing but praise for the owners. The wife was so attentive and caring. I have read some of the reviews and I have to say, we my wife found this hotel an absolute delight. We could not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you so much for looking after my wife and brother in law, my wife is not usually impressed, but on the occasion she we so happy to have stayed at the Thameside Hotel and met the delightful owners.
